Ladies having a problem finding the right face powder,can you help a sister out please ???

i quite wearing make-up for a awhlile and have just recently started wearing it again ! the problem is that i have always wore maybelline's compact powder every since i can remember and i'm finding now it doesn't last very long and i have to re-apply every 30 to 40 minutes and i was wondering if there was a powder out there with long lasting coverage . i am willing to pay any price !!! thanxsLadies having a problem finding the right face powder,can you help a sister out please ???
My favorite is Clinique's Double wear face powder. It runs $18.50 and offers great coverage. It works well to hold your foundation in place and can be worn alone if you like. It is there fullest powder coverage. They also offer loose and two other types of pressed powder but I like that one the best. I have also tried a brand at Wal-Mart called Rimmel. It was under $5.00 but I was quite impressed with the coverage and use that one when my finances are low. The problem is the color choices are limited and they run out fast.Ladies having a problem finding the right face powder,can you help a sister out please ???
i use Max Factor foundation you put on with a sponge most of the time you dont need to wear a powder over it it is sufficiant ,but if i do i use any one as the foundation will hold it on
Bobbi Brown or Perscriptives. They both have a wide selection of types of coverage and Perscriptives will even custom blend a powder exactly as u want the color and finish etc..u were probably having problems with the powder either because the poor quality of the previous product, or maybe ur skin is oily so it doesn't last as long or a combo of both...
Bare Minerals. It is expensive to start, but the best product I've ever used. You can find it at www.bareminerals.com or at QVC.
I had the same problem. I have tried every brand that you could think of. The best one that lasts long and it is actually good for my skin is Everyday Minerals, intensive formula at everydayminerals.com. The company has a great selection of shades and the products are pure. The prices are fantastic. You could even get a discount by using their discount codes at their blog-
I use Revlon colorstay pressed powder .It's fabulous.It's stays on all day.


By the way i tried other more expensive brand and Revlon is good quality without the crazy price tag.
I use Mac studio fix, which is actually makeup powder.. you don't need to use any foundation. It is wonderful and works great!!! its about 25.00 for a compact, but it does last a long time, and i don't ever reapply it throughout the day. Try it!

Try Bobbi Brown! Better quality but it does cost a bit more. Also, her shades are so complimentary to women of color!
I had a similar problem in finding a powder for a woman of color. My cousin pointed me to Mac cosmetics. I use the Studio Fix which is the best face powder I've ever used.
