If i use baking powder face mask rather than baking soda, was the result would be the same?

just for a less cost things.. you know ^_^If i use baking powder face mask rather than baking soda, was the result would be the same?
baking soda is just straight sodium bicarbonate, where as baking powder is a mixture of cornstarch, monocalcium phosphate and sodium bicarbonate, in that order..baking soda is usually cheaper than baking powder.. :)
