Everytime I try to wear face powder it makes my skin peel, what can I do?

I have OILY skin... so it isnt because my skin is dry ???Everytime I try to wear face powder it makes my skin peel, what can I do?
moisturize and maybe try some different makeup productsEverytime I try to wear face powder it makes my skin peel, what can I do?
You may be allergic to the brand you are using. Are you cleansing, freshening and moisturizing twice a day and using a mask/exfoliator 1-2 times per week?

I would try a different brand of powder though.
You have a combination type of skin, oily in some areas but dry in some. The peeling part upon powder application is the dry area.

You need to address your combination skin type to prevent flaking/peeling. Use a light moisturizer preferably in a gel preparation.

try washing your face with biore or any anti oil facial cleanser, then use this non oil face lotion usually its clean and clear and its in a white/orange container, to keep your face less oily. And about yout face powder situation, don't use powder, use cream cream works on dry and oily
You are probably drying your skin out with whatever you are washing your face with. Use a face wash that is for oily skin. Then use a moisturizer for oily skin as well. This will balance your skin. You should probably use a mineral makeup, because it only has natural ingredients. It will control the oil without drying you skin. An excellent company is Christi Mar. Their makeup is very easy to use, and it doesn't feel heavy when you wear it. You can find them on www.christimarcosmetics.com
Put on foundation and consealer and then powder and you should be ok because the powder will not be touching your skin it will be on the foundation.
try a different foundation product...try liquid or don't use any foundation.....try this source
Your skin is too dry so you shouldn't use face powder. Unless you want to even out your skin tone, you don't need it anyway because they're usually used to absorb oil. Don't use liquid foundation either because that can also be too drying. Use a tinted moisturizer.

Oh, if you have oily skin but the powder does this to your face anyway, switch powders. You might be allergic to an ingredient in the powder you're using.
Why not try mousse foundation that Maybelline has. It's not oily.
don't wear it jsut stick with your foundation or try a wet foundation powder.
