Does powder last longer when its applied over a bare face or over vaseline?

I like to use Vaseline as a base and the only make up I use is powder. Does the vaseline make the makeup last longer or shorter or the same?Does powder last longer when its applied over a bare face or over vaseline?
i think it might make it last longer...but ur also getting more than u need because of the stickyness of the vaseline and vaseline doesnt let ur pore breath like they need to...so ur not doing much good to ur skin at all...u should just switch to liquid foundation and u get the same effect as when u do it ur way but u use less...or try using moisturizer instead...Does powder last longer when its applied over a bare face or over vaseline?
vaseline all over your face is a bad idea not only will u look oily but it can stop the skin from breathing and can make u break out





just use it on dry chapped skin and sparingly





your fine to use powder, why not try a mineral foundation





i dont use them myself because im allergic to the ingredients but alot of women swear by it
Umm, vaseline is not what I would consider exactly ';good for your skin.'; If your skin is desperately dry, try a moisturizer instead. And to answer your question, yes it would last longer, but moisturizer would do the same thing. Good luck!
Ew. Do not use vaseline. That'll clog your pores, its like putting grease on your face.


My suggestion, is using a face moisturizer from OLAY. Or something of that sort.


Then apply your powder.





It does last longer with a wet foundation underneath and looks smoother.






Mmm...I would not use Vaseline. Use a good moisturizer instead and then apply the powder over that.
You should NEVER use vaseline on your face this will clog pores and make your skin dull and lifeless.
