Help applying mineral makeup face powder!!!!?

Ok..so I got some colorlab mineral makeup powder foundation and am getting used to applying it.

I now swirl, tap off the excess powder, then apply.

This morning, I did this and applied it once and then thought鈥mmmm..I'll do it again..then I think I had a bit too much on..

How many times should you go over and buff an area?

How can you be sure to get it right?Help applying mineral makeup face powder!!!!?
id only appy it once never twice because you will look over done and remember you can also use a cover up stick for problem areas. less is moreHelp applying mineral makeup face powder!!!!?

i've never used colorlab mineral makeup before. does it have different formulas? matte usually will offer more coverage and there are other formulas which offers less coverage.

the key to proper application is to apply very sparingly in very thin layers. when you tap, make sure you tap until no more excess powder then start applying to your face. i will buff lightly all over my face first starting from the jawline of one side. so my face can get a quick once over while the brush is full of makeup. then go back and start buffing from the first jawline towards my cheek then nose, then the other jawline, to cheek to nose. followed by foreheard and chin. then blend the jawline a little to the neck.

a little goes a long way with mineral makeup so buff it into your skin well before you consider a second coat. and as i said, different formulas have different coverage levels. the number of layers you apply will depend on the coverage your forumla offers as well as how much coverage you need.

i find that after buffing the foundation and the finishing powder , it helps to mist your face a little. it freshens your skin with some moisture as well as sets your mineral makeup.
