Which is the best foundation/loose powder/face makeup etc. for oily/acne prone skin that won't look cakey?

Whenever I put on face makeup, it always ends up appearing greasy, and extremely cakey. What can I do to help avoid this? I also have wrinkles and fine lines that makeup seems to settle in. How can I combat this? I've heard of mineral foundations, etc, are these better than generic products? bare minerals, or proactive. bare minerals is really not bad for your face at all, it doesnt harm your face or anything.... from wen i have used it.. its worked very well it will cover everything up and make ur skin look flawless... no lie bare minerals is one very good product that has worked for me. no matter wat ur skin tone is, you will stand out of the crowd ;)

You should look into May Kay's skin care products. They have balancing products cusomized for each skin type. I would also suggest Neutrogena's acne eliminating gel. You can wear it under your mak up. It reduces the redness and size of the bump;)
i use clown make-up. it's really good for oily skins.

O personally LOVE bare minerals. you can find it almost anywhere. but they have a little box with everything (brushes makeup etc...)
if i were you i would not use anything i used to have acne but got rid of it using noxzema so if you apply powder itll only make your face worse. i would try getting a clear face. it takes about 2 weeks depending on what type of skin you have or you could use proactive. then apply any coverup. itll look better because coverup doesnt really cover up when it comes to acne.
Use a really little bit of thin foundation and don't worry if it dose not cover all the blemishes-don't put anymore on. Then use liquid concealer too cover up lightly the really bad parts and using a makeup brush dust all of it with translucent powder or even better - baby powder! it really does work and my friends thought i didn't wear foundation or anything on my skin when i told them!!!!!! I forgot --- before all this moisturize with something with out perfume in and was your face twice a day!!!. If you have really bad acne get the tablets from the doctor as they really do work or the skin hair and nail vitamins form the health food shop, If you cant use arnica and honey which you can buy to drink for illness but use it as a face pack as it treats acne which is serious. It really works.

no matter what make up you use, it'll look cakey. go with bare minerals. i like it and it gives a more natural and flawless complexion than all that liquid and powder stuff
