I'm going to agree. None of the above. Confidence is probably the best bet for a girl who'd like to look sophisticated. A classy wardrobe also might help.

None of the above. Go with an au naturale look. I do it every day, and people still mistake this 16 year old for 18+. If you pack on the make up, people will KNOW you're young an, well, not too sophisticated.





However, if you are in desperate need of cosmetics, I would recommend minimal mascara--not ';heavy';--and a subtle shade of lipstick--you don't need to powder your face.

I think the way the girl handles herself will make the biggest impact on whether she's considered sophisticated or not.
It depends on what type of person you are. It depends on your age, hair color, skin tone, educational and social level, etc. All of those might be considered sexy in the ghetto and horrible at a country club.

there are a number of products that will do this, frequently they are labeled illuminating or lightening.





However these only work well if you are young and haven't developed any wrinkles (and I do mean any). Once you have even small creases the powder will tend to rub itself into them in after an hours worth of wear. In turn that plays up the lines





At that point you will want to get a liquid foundation that is ';smoothing'; to put under the powder. The pigment of these foundations are larger and rounder so they float on the surface of the wrinkles. In turn, liquid foundations often hold the powder better than bare skin, so the powder is less likely to travel and stick in the creases.
Try a powder foundation or blusher. If not then try a product called dream matt mouse in a lighter shade that your skin colour. If you are going with any of these choices then make sure that you use a foundation the same colour of your normal skin tone and gently blend the lighter colour with it

i really like my bare minerals make-up. it's all in a powder form, and you can get some to help ';highlight'; the areas you want to lighten up. it goes on great and doesn't melt off like a liquid foundation or concealer.
Bare Escentuals has a great powder finisher called Mineral Veil that gives just a nice sheen. I love their products in general. Very easy on the skin and just the right amount of coverage.
Try Bare Mineral products. There more expensive, but work well.

i wanted to know if there was any other place to get the starblend powders and glitter and smoothie brushes than just silly farm......it is really expensive there and i want to know if anybody knew about it or something....or if you have any tips.

You can get brushes at those oriental beauty supply shops at a cheaper price. You can get sponges there, too. I don't know where you are located, but in St. Louis there is a place called Midway Beauty Supply. This is where I get my clown paints and my face painting paints. They have brushes, too, but they are a little more expensive than the oriental shops. Check the party supply places or beauty supply places in your area. Silly Farm can get expensive and shopping around is very necessary. Check youtube.com for face %26amp; body painting tips. They were very helpful to me when I was seeking tips on face painting. The only thing I know about body painting is if you are painting a large area you need an air brush gun. Happy hunting!

Mary Kay Mineral Powder...its a foundation but at the same time it makes your face glow and look like you have a tan.

You should try using a mineral loose powder. There's this powder by maybelline n it's a finishing powder, so it gives you a nice glow and at the same time, it gives you this good finishing look . ^^





If you're planning to use the powder as a finish, then you should use transluscent powder, so that it sets your make-up without adding too much extra colour. But if you're using it as a substitute for foundation, then I suggest you use a regular powder that matches your skin tone. :D
