My face so dry. Should i use powder or liquid foundation?

My face so dry. Should i use powder or liquid foundation? My face is Dry and it like having dry skin you can see the crack it so dry it hurt. Is it true you should always apply lotion then liquid or powder foundation? Wat to use? Liquid or powder? My face so dry. Should i use powder or liquid foundation?
i would use a moisturizer first and then put on powder foundation. i also have dry skin, but i don't like to put on liquid foundation, because it seems that i have a mask on with the lotion + the foundationMy face so dry. Should i use powder or liquid foundation?
apply a moisturizer before applying any kind of foundation

then apply i cream/ mousse foundation
use moisteriser!!!! you need to.. any brand it is necessary to start.. use it two times a day.. if your skin is so dry it hurts apply lots of moisteriser on top of skin and let it soak in.. then for make up if your skin is peeling and dry only use a foundation.. powder is only used for oily skin really.. or for a matte look.. but yeah stick to moisteriser and foundation..
Use a moisturizing cream for Dry skin. Then apply liquid or cream foundation. You don't need powder. If you have to have it...use one that is talc free so it doesn't settle into the dry lines. Talc free....Estee Lauder lucidity loose, Christian Dior, Aloette or Shisido.
If you change to a good moisturizer you woulnd't need to worry about powder or foundation. Think of your face as a canvas. The paint on it is only as good as the canva's condition. Find a really rich moisturizer and after a few days your skin will be better.
invest in a good moisturizer, i like my new liquid foundation, it feels flawless its hte new maybelline mineral power liquid foundation. be sure you use a light powder to set everything
Liquid would be best. Just make sure to always use a moisturizer.
OMG what you need that will rock your world is bee luscious Cosmetics hydrating cream and then their liquid minerals foundation you will NEVER have dry again its that totally amazing.
a good thing to use instead of foundation is a good tinted moisturiser. This way you are using a moisturiser mixed in with your foundation. hope his helps :)
MOISTURIZE! everyday....100 times a day! I'm a makeup artist...I've completely given up on both powder and liquid. i work with airbrush makeup on my clients! Unfortunately, not everyone can use airbrush on a daily basis, its expensive, and you need a professional! For you, i recommend liquid, with moisturiser! Airbrush is HIGHLY recommended for any special occasion...try it!

(also try mixing moisturiser with your foundation before applying it!)
Use liquid foundation that has moisturizers in it like Estee Lauder. No power, please! Try using a night creme that should help too.
First moisturize. THen def. LIQUID!
Use liquid. Put on a really good moisturiser, let in sink in for ten minutes, and then apply liquid foundation. You can dust a little powder over.

If you ever want, you can buy ';hyrdating mists'; to spritz on during the day, or if you find that your having to use powder. Trilogy do a really good one, so does MAC. Look up there websites and check the products out.
use moisturiser first then use liquid foundation
Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is really good!
use a moisturizer then a powder foundation.
Use moisturiser first and then definitely liquid foundation if your skin is that dry
You should get a good skin regiment down before you worry about make up. When your skin is dry it can produce extra oil to correct the dryness, but then it will cause you to break out. Make up can make that worse!

Exfoliate well, and use moisturizer day AND night! Try getting a system, like the Arbon Intelligence skin care system...it's what I use. It comes with Face was, mask/exfoliator, toner, moisturizer and eye cream.

If you can, try going to a good spa and ask the facialist for suggestions.

Exfoliate, MOISTURIZE and if you must apply make up...the kind you use depends on what you need.

To cover up a bad spot, use liquid and then pat with powder to set.

If it's just to even out skin tone, use a powder.

Stay clear of makeups that contain TALCUM or TALC, it's a cheap filler and will dry your skin out more and cause break outs. Look for the ';mineral make up'; type lines.

If you use liquid make up, avoid mineral oils if you can...they're bad fillers which will cause extra oil and break outs.

But seriously, facialist or dermatologist, exfoliate and moisturize. ALWAYS moisturize.

Your skin isn't supposed to crack and be so dry you can see it, even if you're on an acne regimen. It's not healthy, you can actually get bacteria in the cracks and get infections or get sick...and worst of all, you'll get break outs!!!
If your face is dry, don't use a powder directly on your skin. That will only make your face drier.

Use a tinted moisturizer or moisturizing foundation.

Another option is to wash your face completely, apply a small amount of face lotion, and then brush powder on top.
Use lotion before you even apply the foundation, if you moisturize your face first, it won't matter if you use powder you liquid; your face won't be dry either way.

:) hope i helped.
I would apply moisturizer on skin before foundation or mix both of them together so your skin isn't so dry. if your skin's dry and you just put foundation over it, it will look unpleasant. try applying only light powder instead of foundation
